Are there any side effects associated with finasteride?

The most common side effects of finasteride include: chills, cold sweats, confusion, dizziness, faintness, or lightheadedness when getting up from a lying or sitting position, decreased interest in sexual intercourse, inability to have or keep an erection, and loss of sexual ability, desire, drive, or performance. A long term study showed that drug-related sexual side effects such as decreased libido, ED, and ejaculatory disorders occurred in less than 2% of men. Currently, Apostrophe is only able to prescribe finasteride to people assigned male at birth. This is not a complete list of side effects. For a full list of side effects, view the FDA label.
